Is there RESEARCH already done or no??
Yes! Actually, hundreds of papers and scientific studies have already demonstrated the existence of dozens of dysfunctional sites in the dysfunctional nervous system. THE PROBLEM is that most researchers and clinicians are still treating the condition separately from their field of expertise or action, perpetuating the mind - body dualism or separation. Insane!
Moreover, most techniques still used are heavily cognitive, not giving enough attention to the limbic and autonomic nervous system (ANS). Excellent modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatics such as Somatic Experiencing, and even spirituality and psychedelics are not being investigated, nor utilized or covered by insurance companies. Due to these and many other reasons individuals affected by FND and their families are suffering for years and even decades! Without getting better, disabled, undergoing criticism, judgment, misunderstanding and more.
