Diego Leite

In 2001, in a quest to understand what life is and its personal purpose, Diego Leite found in shamanism and its medicinal plants a chance to find answers. He then started to study with renowned professors on this path, and 10 years later, in the year 2011 he began to guide ceremonies with sacred plants of power; in jungles, mountains, deserts, and other spiritual zones around the world.

Diego was the founder and director of “Regeneration Space” from 2015 to 2020, a center outside Sao Paulo, Brazil, dedicated to awaken our consciousness under the light of ancestral tools and sacred plants, using the teachings of the Medicine Wheel, The Three Worlds and The Four Directions.

His personal and professional dream has evolved much ever since and led to the foundation of a larger center; “The Holocene Sanctuary”, founded in September 2021, located inside 120,000 m2 of Atlantic Forest in Ibiuna, SP, Brazil; a place to enjoy life, connect with nature, heal and self-transform, while learning and applying permaculture, bioconstruction, and regenerative economics. One of the main goals of this international movement and place for community, is to promote and support the scientific research around the use medicinal plants in the development of our human consciousness, and the promotion of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

Diego is the co-founder of “Science & Shamanism” together with the American neurologist, Dr. Yadira Velazquez; where they both are affirming territory, in this new moment of scientific recognition of the benefits of nature, its medicinal tools and plants, for healing and maintaining health. His method focuses on translating the teachings and insights he has received over 20 years of studies with ancestral communities around the world and while navigating expanded states of consciousness, in order to lead us to improve our personal life’s experiences, using the theory of the Shamanic Medicine Wheel of the Three Worlds and the Four Directions, and by doing so triggering impactful transformations in individuals, communities, organizational systems and societies at large.
